Monopoly: Star Wars Saga Edition is a board game the resembles the classical Monopoly game, but with characters and locations from the Star Wars films. All 6 Star Wars films are represented in the game, making this a must-have for fans and collectors. The game includes 8 collectible Star Wars character game pieces, Sith and Jedi cards, and 32 different settlements that replace the hotels, houses and properties of the original game.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start by choosing your game piece: Available are Darth Maul, Darth Vader, General Grievous, Leia, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Palpatine or Yoda. Start by taking turns with the other players by rolling the pair of dice to see how many spaces your character should move on the game board.

  2. Step 2

Buy properties, which are popular places from the films, and add settlements. Every time another player lands on your settlement they must pay you however much rent is indicated on your settlement card. After you have 4 settlements on a property you can add a city.

  3. Step 3

If you land on a Jedi or Sith space, you must pick up the correlating card. These serve as Chance and Community Chest cards.

  4. Step 4

The TIE Fighter, Millennium Falcon, X-Wing, and Star Destroyer are similar to the railroad spaces of the original game. Moisture Farm and Reactor Core properties act as utilities.

  5. Step 5

Win the game by earning money until all of the other players declare themselves bankrupt.

Tips & Warnings
  • New rules include when a player has finished their turn they are given the chance to roll doubles, meaning the same number on each die. The first time a player rolls doubles they can move their piece anywhere on the game board. If the player rolls doubles again they collect 200 dollars. Rolling doubles three times means the other players have to pay you 50 dollars.
