Customizable lip glosses

Clear gloss as a base + eyeshadow pigments = new and exciting shades

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Clear lip gloss (OCC lip tar in clear, MAC clear lipglass, and Bobbi Brown Crystal lip gloss are good ones)
  • Mineral loose eyeshadows or blush, Pigments, lipstick
  1. Step 1

Onto a mixing plate, squeeze out a drop or two of clear gloss. MAC, Bobbi Brwon, and OCC make really great long-lasting ones which really pack on the shine. Any clear gloss would do really. However, these are typically the brands that many makeup artists use.

  2. Step 2

Use a lip brush to scoop out your choice colors of mineral or loose eyeshadow makeup. Add blue to cool down colors, black to deepen colors, mix red and white to make pink, etc.

Scrape a bit of blush from your compact.

MAC pigments. Anything. MAC pigments might work the best though if you want long-lasting color.

Etsy is an excellent source of inexpensive mineral eyeshadows that would work well in lipglosses.

  3. Step 3

Mix the gloss and powder until the color has been fully incorporated. Use the same brush to apply to your lips. And you are done.
