Get electrolysis to make facial hair vanish. Electrolysis works on all types of hair including fine and blonde hair, also called "peach fuzz." Up to six treatments of electrolysis may be necessary before the hair is completely gone, but the results are permanent.

Try laser hair removal if you have a light complexion and dark facial hair. Laser hair removal only works on thick and dark hair and light skin because the pulsed light must target dark melanin in order to destroy it. Like electrolysis, up to six or more treatments may be necessary due to the cyclical nature of hair growth.

After the electrolysis or laser hair removal treatment, apply a hair growth restricting cream to hinder further growth. There are a few creams on the market, but Vaniqa is currently the only FDA-approved one. It works by blocking an enzyme that contributes to hair growth.

Use the hair inhibitor cream in conjunction with the electrolysis and laser hair removal treatments. The cream does not remove hair, but greatly reduces hair growth. You can also use it to reduce hair growth after waxing, shaving and threading. If you apply the cream onto your face without removing the hair first, it won't make any difference in reducing the hair growth.
