Things You'll Need:
- Turkey wing
- Knife
- Hacksaw
- Small rifle bore
- Super Glue
- Sandpaper
-
Step 1
Remove the humerus, the largest bone in the turkey wing, and the radius and ulna, the smaller and larger bones in the split portion of the wing.
-
Step 2
Scrape the meat off all three bones with the knife.
-
Step 3
Cut the knobs from the bones with the hacksaw so that each bone is entirely tubular.
-
Step 4
Push the rifle bore through the bones to remove as much marrow as possible.
-
Step 5
Boil the bones and Repeat Step 4 until all marrow is cleared from the bones.
-
Step 6
Sand the ends of the bones if necessary so that the radius, which will be your mouthpiece, can slide slightly into the ulna, and the ulna can slide slightly into the humerus.
-
Step 7
Add glue to the ends of the bones, and insert them end-to-end as described in Step 6, with about one centimeter of overlap on each joint.
