How to Cancel a FreeTripleScore.com Account

There are companies that claim to provide free credit score reports but they are not always free. When you sign up for the free credit report you are automatically enrolled for a trial membership. These memberships are very difficult to cancel and memberships might come with hidden fees. This article explains how to cancel a FreeTripleScore.com which is owned by Privacy Matters 1-2-3 and receive their credit data from TransUnion Interactive.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    If you have already signed up, you need to check your credit card statements to make sure you haven't been charged. You have a 7 day time slot from when you sign up for your account from freetriplecreditreport to when you can cancel the free Privacy Matters 1-2-3 trial service and free credit report without being charged.

  2. Step 2

    To cancel a subscription from Privacy Matters 1-2-3 try calling one of their contact phone number:

  3. Step 3

    If you are having trouble with the customer service representatives then you might want to try mailing or emailing them the cancellation request.

Tips & Warnings
  • The credit report is only free if you cancel it within 7 days.
  • A good way to get a free annual credit report is by going through AnnualCreditReport.com
  • The gov't allows you to get a free credit report from each of the 3 credit bureaus which are equifax, transunion, and experian
  • There is not a way to cancel it online.
  • They will bill you if you do not cancel your account within 7 days.
  • They will not delete your information (name, SS#, Credit Card #, etc...) from their databases.
