Where you apply your perfume makes a big difference in how long the scent lasts.

Have you ever noticed that a perfume scent can last all day on some people, but not on others? Are you one of those people that have to reapply your perfume everyday at lunch? If so, there are some things you can do to make your fragrance, no matter how expensive or inexpensive, last all day. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Buy the powder and lotion that go with your perfume scent. If a complete set is not offered, make your own.

Create a custom lotion by adding several drops of your perfume to a fragrance-free lotion. Shake the bottle thoroughly to mix.

If you need to make a body powder, add several drops of your perfume to a cotton ball, and place the cotton ball in an airtight container of plain talc. Shake to mix, and leave the cotton ball in the container so the talc can absorb the fragrance.

Layer your perfume scent to achieve a longer lasting, but not overpowering, effect. Once you get out of the shower, put on the perfume-scented lotion. Allow it to dry and then lightly add the dusting powder.

    • 3

Apply the perfume itself to your pulse points, such as the inside of your wrists and elbows and just under your jaw. Add some to your hair and clothing as well, if desired.
