Things You'll Need:
- 1 package carrot cake mix
- 2 cups chopped peeled granny smith apples
- 20 caramel candies
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup crushed toasted pecans

Step 1
You will need a medium mixing bowl. You will need to mix the carrot cake mix as directed. Then you will need to stir in the chopped apple pieces. Then you will need to fill a greased muffin pan with liners and fill the cups 3/4 of the way full.

You will then need to bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick that is inserted into the middle of one of the cupcakes comes out clean. You will then need to remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes in the pan before removing from the pan and placing on a wire rack and allow them to cool completely.

Step 3
You will now need a saucepan where you will add the caramels and the milk. Heat over low heat until all the caramels are melted and this mixture is smooth. Then spread over the cupcakes and sprinkle with the toasted pecans.
