Step 1
press guide on your remote to see what is on

make sure the hi lighted channel is a light blue this insures your guide will only display the channels your satellite service provides if the highlighted channel in not light blue press guide again it should now be the desired color

Use the up and down arrow keys to change the highlighted channel now lets
find the sow you wish to record by moving through the guide if the show your trying to find is not currently on use the < > keys to look at different times on your satellite once you find the program you wish to record press the select key in the center of your remote -
Step 4
Now you will be presented with a set of options.Type,frequency,now press left on your remote to highlight the tab under frequency under frequency it will say all episodes, new episodes,once,Now highlight the desired option and press select now press > and hit select again

Your done. Now to watch your recordings press the Dvr button and press select on option 1. There's all your recorded programs just select the desired program and enjoy the show
