This party trick would have to be done at a healthy party (where bananas might be available), but it can be a source of some real entertainment if you can convince others to try it. After you successfully perform the trick, challenge friends to do the same. Tell them that if they are unsuccessful, they need to eat their own mushed banana.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Probably more than one banana
  1. Step 1

Hold the banana firmly in both hands with one hand on each end of the banana - like you are gripping the handlebars of a bike. The banana should be turned so that it makes a "smile" rather than a "frown" or a "rainbow," and there should be about an inch of space between your hands.

  2. Step 2

Relax your muscles and prepare yourself for a quick, sudden motion. The banana should be at about chest height.

  3. Step 3

Very quickly twist your wrists outward (as you would if you were breaking something over your knee) while spreading your arms apart with your shoulders at the same time. The trick is to do it very quickly and confidently. If you hesitate at all, you'll end up with banana pudding.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is a great way to share a banana with a friend or loved one.
