Good Vodka Makes a Good Russian
Good Vodka Makes a Good Russian

Some people love the taste of a black Russian. One of the few straight liquor drinks that does not burn the tongue, the chocolate take on this old favorite brings new life to an already fantastic bar drink.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 ounces of Kahlua (or other coffee liquor)
  • 2 ounces of chocolate Vodka
  • Ice
  • Shaker
  • Tumbler
  1. Step 1

Measure the liquors. The chocolate black Russian recipe calls for 2 ounces of each liquor. If you do not have a bar measure for the liquor, try using 2 shots of each. Many shakers will have the ounces printed on the side of the shaker for easy measuring.

  2. Step 2

Pour into the shaker and blend. The liquors can be poured straight into the shaker for blending. A short shake is all that is needed. The ice can be added to the shaker if the drink will be served as a shot versus a standalone drink.

  3. Step 3

Serve over ice. This drink needs to be consumed cold. Fill the tumbler with ice and pour the contents of the shaker over the ice. Enjoy!
