How to Improve My Golf Swing
Whether a weekend golfer or a serious amateur, your golf swing is the single most important aspect of your golf game; without a good swing you will be at a serious disadvantage on the course. Paying attention to small details and practicing good habits can make a world of difference.

Grip your club correctly. The correct grip will do wonders for your swing. Make sure your left thumb is pointing straight down the shaft, with the smallest three fingers lightly gripping the club. Wrap your right hand around to interlock the pinky with the index finger of the left hand. There are several variations of golf grips; experiment with different styles until you find a comfortable grip that works for you.

2
Stay balanced during your swing. If your body is off-balance during your backswing or swing you will probably slice the ball regularly.

3
Keep your right arm close to your side during your back swing and forward swing. Keeping your arm tucked in will help you stay on top of the ball and not leave an open face club when you strike the golf ball.
-
4
Complete your follow-through. The follow-through is one of the most important aspects of a good golf swing; compare it to a pitcher's follow through when he throws a baseball. Do you ever see a pitcher suddenly stop his arm after he releases the ball?

Practice good habits on the driving range as well as the course. No one has ever picked up a golf club and had a perfect swing, so spend some time at the driving range.
