Best Grilled Sandwich Ever!
Best Grilled Sandwich Ever!

Looking for a way to spice up your lunch? This sandwich is just the thing for you. It combines the simplicity of a grilled cheese sandwich with the brilliance of pizza. It is great right off the stove, or later in your lunch.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sliced Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded Mozzarella can be used in a pinch)
  • Sliced bread
  • Pizza Sauce (or spaghetti sauce)
  • Pepperoni
  1. Step 1

Butter two slices of bread on one side. Put the pieces of bread, butter side in a frying pan. Turn the burner to medium.

  2. Step 2

On one piece of bread, put the slice of mozzarella cheese on top. On the other piece, spread pizza sauce over the bread and cover the sauce with pepperoni.

  3. Step 3

Grill the sandwich until the edges of the mozzarella cheese is melted. Or until the each slice of bread is golden brown.

  4. Step 4

Put the slice with mozzarella cheese on top of the slice with the sauce and pepperoni. (if you try putting the slice with the sauce on top, it will make a mess and possibly set off the fire alarm ... don't ask). Let the sandwich cool for a minute or two and enjoy!

  5. Step 5

Try experimenting with your toppings. Some of my favorite toppings are feta cheese, bacon, jalapeno, and pickled peppers. Have fun with it. If you pick a combination you hate, try again.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have fun with your creation.
  • Try making on an actual grill.
  • Hot cheese can burn the roof of your mouth and ruin the experience.
