How to sell jeans on e-bay.

Selling jeans on e-bay is an easy way to make extra money. Buying jeans brand new can be very expensive so often people are looking for "lots" of jeans in the same size that are gently used. You can sell jeans that you already own and no longer need/want or you can buy jeans at thrift shops for a low price and re-sell them for a great profit!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • EBay Account
  • Jeans
  • Tape Measure
  • Camera
  1. Step 1

Create an e-bay account if you do not already have one and then find the jeans you would like to sell on e-bay. Jeans do the best if they are in a "lot" and all the same size. Even jeans with minor wear, a hole here or there, still do very well!

  2. Step 2

Inspect the jeans for holes, stains, wear on the edges of the legs, etc. Note anything that you will want to add to your listing, any imperfections that the jeans may have, but please do not hesitate to list jeans that have a hole or a small stain. These can still do very well!

  3. Step 3

Find a flat surface with a black or white background to lay out each pair of jeans and take clear pictures of them. Make sure you take one picture of the whole set of jeans and then each pair individually. It is important to have a front, back and whole picture of the jeans. Also add extra pictures of any details that are attractive on the jeans.

  4. Step 4

Measure the jeans. It is important to include measurements of all jeans you are selling. If you do not include measurements you have multiple messages asking for these measurements or they will just move on to the next auction!

  5. Step 5

Upload your pictures and write your description. Buyers love pictures so use as many as possible!

Tips & Warnings
  • If jeans have any flaws include a close up picture of the flaw and note it in the listing. I have made a lot of money selling second hand clothes and people don't mind a small stain here or there, as long as it is described before they bid and they are aware of it!
  • Also include brand names! Even if it is not an expensive brand, include it anyway.
  • Include fiber content of the jeans. ex.. 100% cotton
