How to Look Younger by Using Facial Massage for a Natural Facelift
Facial massage can bring many beauty benefits to the skin by soothing the muscles of the face and helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When massaging the face, it is important to use a gentle touch and to always work in upward, circular motions, as this will work against gravity. Facial massage is great for reducing puffiness of the face and can result in an overall radiant glow for the skin.

1
Gently cleanse the skin with a facial cleanser and warm water. Steaming your face before starting a facial massage can also be beneficial because it will to remove bacteria and open up the pores so your skin can get the most benefit from a facial massage. If you do not have a facial steamer at home, simply bring a pot of water to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, turn off the stove and stand two feet away from the pot, allowing the steam to reach your skin.

Add a few drops of coconut, olive, or argan oil to the palms of your hands. Gently rub together and smooth over your face starting at the cheeks and gently running a bit of oil on the nose and on the forehead. This will prepare your skin for receiving a facial massage and give the skin the necessary "slippage" it needs for a facial massage to work effectively.

Place thumbs on the forehead. Start at the top of the eyebrows and work your way vertically across the forehead in light yet firm strokes. Work your way up, stopping at the hairline. This will help to minimize the appearance of fine lines that can be seen on the forehead. Avoid raising your eyebrows and wrinkling your forehead when talking and making facial expressions to avoid creating deeper lines if you have them.

4
Apply light pressure between the eyebrows and work your way up the middle of the forehead, reaching all the way up to the hairline. Make small circles on the temples using light, yet firm pressure. Using your ring finger on both hands, make small circles along the eye sockets going in a counterclockwise position. This will help to relieve sinus pressure and smooth fine lines.
