How to make pork roast with barbecue sauce

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pork roast
  • 1/3 cup onion
  • 1/3 cup celery
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  1. Step 1

You will need a roasting pan. You will then place your pork roast into the pan. You will then bake the pork uncovered on 325 for 1 hour and 30 minutes. In a skillet you will need to sauté the onion, celery, and garlic in the oil until they are tender. You will then need to stir the rest of the ingredients in with the vegetables.

  2. Step 2

You then will need to spoon the mixture overtop of the pork roast and continue to cook 45 minutes. You will need to bake until the meat thermometer reads 160 degrees. Be sure to save about a cup of the sauce mixture to use later.

  3. Step 3

Once it is fully cooked and you removed the roast from the oven you will need to allow the roast sit for 15 minutes before slicing allow the juices to be redistributed throughout the meat. You will then serve with the remaining barbecue sauce just in case some one wants extra.
