How to Make a Unique Picture Frame From Pictures

This unquie project is an easy gift to creat out of index clip pictures and an old frame. Create an eye catching decoration without having to pick just one picture to frame. Warning once project is completed be prepared to make another, my first frame was for a gift needless to say I had to make an extra. each frame is unque in its own making... Just like snowflakes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pictures
  • Printer
  • Computer
  • A Wide Frame (can be old and used)
  • Scissors or Straight Edge Cutter
  • Small or Medium Sponge Brush
  • Mod Podge (water base glue and sealer)
  1. Step 1

    Choose a theme.... family, friends, special event, etc.

    Choose a photo or printer program that works best for you.

    Choose pictures (always over choose, always have to many than not enough).. upload into one album on computer.

    Print several pictures to choose from.

    Print pictures in contact size (just a little larger than thumbnail size) on regualer printer paper.

    Cut out pictures using the method that fits you best.

    Cut out pictures all the way to the edge of photo.

    Make a plan, nothing is permanent until its glued.

    Layout cut pictures one frame to give idea of how you may lay pictures.

    Layer the pictures leaving space in between some areas is up to you.

    Start with one corner with its edges and brush then layer of mod podge over the area. Then lay pictures on the prepared area before mod podge dries. Press pictures down gently reinforcing the over lap on the edge of the frame.

    Start in sections moving quickly around the frame.

    Repeat steps all the way around the edge until frame is covered. Leaving some space in between pictures is up to your personal taste.

    Spread Mod Podge smooth and evenly over every inch of the frame including the edges.

    Now spread mod podge over all areas of frame. Back of frame is optional, reapeat process twice letting mod podge dry for 15 minutes between layers.
