How to Make an Inexpensive Personalized Wedding Guest Book
Most wedding receptions feature a book at the entrance for guests to sign on their way into the reception. However, guests sometimes feel rushed and only sign their name. Create an inexpensive personalized wedding guest book that will give your guests an opportunity to express their congratulations. Use a memory book cover that accepts unlimited refills so you have plenty of space in your guest book, and create a kit for each table at the reception so guests can make a personalized page for the book.

1
Cut heavy card stock the correct size to be a page in the book. If you want, use your computer to create a design that fits the theme of your wedding and print the design on each page. Leave your guests plenty of empty space to write.
-
2
Place several pieces of cardstock in a plastic container that will hold the paper without bending it. Use plastic containers so food or drink will not get on to the paper. Put enough card stock in the plastic container for each guest at the table, with a few extra.

3
Add writing tools to the container so guests can create their pages. Include colored pens and markers, and crayons if small children will attend the reception.
-
4
Print out an instruction card that says something like: "In lieu of a guest book, we would like you to express your feelings and advice for the happy couple on these pieces of paper. Please be creative and have fun with it. Please leave your wishes inside the containers so they can be picked up at the end of the reception."
-
5
Place one kit on each table at the reception.
-
6
Assemble your personalized wedding guest book with the pages you collect at the end of the reception. Depending on the style of your memory book, you will either slide the pages into sheet protect or you may have to punch holes to put the pages into your book.
