How to Paint the Coping on Swimming Pools
Swimming pool coping can become worn and make your pool look unsightly over time. Paint the coping, which is located at the top of the pool liner, to give your pool a brand new look. Use care when painting to avoid getting paint on the liner or the surrounding concrete. Before you begin painting, schedule a time that you can allow the coping to dry overnight before going swimming to prevent the paint from running. Does this Spark an idea?

Use masking tape to apply strips of newspaper to the inside of the pool to protect the liner. Tape the newspaper so that it is flush with the bottom of the coping. Do not let the newspaper get wet. Drain some of the water out of the pool if necessary. Use duct tape to secure the newspaper to the concrete on the outside of the pool up to the edge of the coping.
