How to lose weight the correct way, with Diet and Exercise!

  1. Step 1

    The first thing that is needed to be done is consult your physician about starting a weight loss program and/or diet!

  2. Step 2

    Find out what your bmi (body mass index) is and figure out what a healthy weight is for your body frame and height!

  3. Step 3

    Once you and your doctor have discussed what amount of weight you need to lose, you will then be able to start planning on how you need to lose it!

  4. Step 4

    The first thing you want to do is go out and purchase some Vitamin B12 and a regular multivitamin. Vitamin b12 boosts your metabolism in order to lose weight!

  5. Step 5

    Drink 8 to 10, 8 ounce glasses of water a day.

  6. Step 6

    Eat six small meals a day, which are low fat, low carb, high protein and low sodium. The daily value for an average woman should be 1200 calories, and about 1600-1800 calories for an average man.

  7. Step 7

    Start adding in 15 to 20 minutes of exercise every other day to get yourself into a routine of working out. Once you have gotten into a routine, you will start to see more weight loss than without the exercise.

  8. Step 8

    Now as a suggestion, keep track of your weight loss by making a chart, that shows how much you've lost over a set period of time.

  9. Step 9

    You can not only keep track of the weight in lbs, but also the change in your waist size, arm size, leg size, and your bust size, to show you just how much you are losing if you aren't losing the actual weight!
