Recover My File version 3.98 is a specially designed computer program to help recover files after they have been deleted. Sometimes a file will be removed and then needed later in the future, other times an entire hard drive will be reformatted, clearing files off the drive. Either way, Recover My Files 3.98 is there to help bring those files back so they can be usable once again.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Recover My File version 3.98
  1. Step 1

Open "Recover My File 3.98." If you do not currently have it you can purchase it from the link provided (see Resources). Please note that there is a demo version available for free from the site, and it will scan the system just like the full version, but it will not allow a user to save and recover the files detected after the scan.

  2. Step 2

Chose one of the four scanning options. There is an expressing and complete file scanning method, as well as express and complete recovery scans (this is for hard drives that were reformatted accidentally). Click "Next" after the type of scan has been chosen.

  3. Step 3

Select the drive or folders you want to be scanned. If you know the files original location when it was deleted, it will save time just to scan that section of the drive. Click "Next" one more time and then "Start." Recover My Files 3.98 will now scan the selected drives and files from files that have previously been deleted.

  4. Step 4

Select the files you would like to recover by checking the box next to their names. Click "Save" which is right above the file selection and the files will be recovered back to their original location on the hard drive. if you want them placed in a different location you can click "Save As" and then specify where you would like them to go.
