How to Shorten an Ecko Watch Band

No matter which Ecko watch you buy, it probably will require some adjusting. If your watch band doesn't come pre-sized to the perfect fit, you will need to learn how to properly fit it to your wrist. Removing links can be simple with the right tools or the right professional help.

• Pin pusher or paper clip

Instructions

1. Try on your Ecko watch. If the watch band needs adjustment, you can go to the vendor who sold you the watch. The vendor will use special tools to adjust links in the watch band.

2. To adjust the watch yourself, use a pin pusher or paper clip, remove links by pressing on the small pins holding the links in place. When the watch band separates, and the pin is free, remove pins, then links, one at a time.

3. Re-attach your watch band by fitting the end links into each other. Using your pin pusher, re-insert a joining pin to complete the sizing. Store your extra links and pins safely in case you need to adjust the watch again in the future.
