Things You'll Need:
- 4 medium sized potatoes
- 1 C. all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon table salt
- Pinch of black pepper
-
Step 1
Use a medium sized skillet for delicious German potato pancakes. Lightly spray the frying pan with a non stick vegetable spray.
-
Step 2
Finely grate the peeled potatoes. Put all other ingredients in a medium sized glass bowl adding the potatoes as you stir to mix everything together.
-
Step 3
Preheat the skillet on medium heat on your stove. When only warm drop by 4 tablespoons full in skillet. Cook until completely brown on one side and then turn with a flipper or spatula. The time for the German pancakes to cook will be about 7 to 10 minutes. You can test the pancakes with a fork. If the pancake allows the fork to be pierced easily without any resistance, they are done.
