Do Facial With Homemade Products

It is possible to achieve a totally relaxing and rejuvenating facial at home with homemade products. The recipes I use in my article are very simple and call for the ingredients which are readily available in the kitchens.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Before we start with facial it is very important to make sure that your face is 100% clean. That's the essential step number one. There should be no makeup left on your face including your eye mascara. Mix milk and water in equal parts and using cotton ball remove makeup in upward and outward strokes. Wash your face and pat dry.

  2. Step 2

Step two is exfoliation. Mix one tablespoon of raw sugar (doesn't matter white or brown) with few drops of lemon. Rub this mixture on your face in circular, gentle motion. Avoid eyes. Rinse with water.

  3. Step 3

Step number three is pore cleansing which is done with steam. Take a bowl full of boiling water and add a chamomile tea bag. If you don't have the tea then you can pick tea tree oil or lavender oil. The steam should make you feel good, if it feels uncomfortable then you can skip this step and instead put a face towel (dipped in the portion) on your face.

  4. Step 4

Step four is extraction. It should be done carefully and should not hurt. Take a cotton ball and squeeze around your nose or the areas with visible black heads. Don't use your nails or press to hard to extract. Then finish off this step by wiping your face with witch hazel.

  5. Step 5

Step four is closing the pores that we opened in the last step. Mix an egg with some honey and apply it to your face for about 10 minutes or until it's completely dry.
