How to Load a Staple Gun

Have you run out of staples for your staple gun and don't know how to reload it with staples? Reloading with staples is a very easy process that will ensure you have enough staples to complete any project.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Locate the pusher rod assembly release. This is an approximately 1"x1" square at the rear of the staple gun. Each side of the square should have dimples for a better grip. Grab these two areas with your thumb and pointer, one on each side. Push IN, DOWN, and pull OUT release the rod assembly.

  2. Step 2
    Insert staples as shown.

    Insert desired compatible replacement staples over the two parallel metal rails now exposed at the rear of the staple gun.

  3. Step 3
    Re-insert pusher rod as shown.

    Re-insert the pusher rod assembly back into the staple gun. To lock the pusher rod into place, simply push the rod assembly straight into the opening until it cannot go further. Then, push DOWN, IN, and release.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the pusher rod will not close into locked position once staples are added, simply remove staples until it will close in a locked position. It is very important that the pusher rod be locked once staples are added.
  • NEVER aim the staple gun at any body parts.
