Load a Staple Gun
Load a Staple Gun

Loading a Staple gun is very simple. Here is how to re-fill a staple gun.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Hold the staple gun upside down to access the staple holder compartment. It's black handle on the rear of the gun. Be sure to wear eye protection when handling or operating any tools.

  2. Step 2

Press the black handle inward and pull down. This handle along with the "slide" will come out. Slide a replacement sleeve of new staples, then replace the "slide" and close the black handle.

  3. Step 3

Be sure to replace with staples as required by the manufacture. Incorrect type and staple size can and often will cause the staple gun to jam. Always replace with a full lenght sleeve, to reduce jamming.

  4. Step 4

In the event the staple gun gets jammed, open the rear black handle as instructed in step #2. Remove the remaining sleeve of un-used staples. Then remove the jammed or bent staple(s) at the opening where staples are discharged. Replace the remaining unused staples, close the black handle and continue to operate.
