Having an entire room to dedicate to your scrapbooking hobby is a dream come true for some people. This will make your hobby a lot more fun and enjoyable. Of course, you are going to want to make sure that you organize your scrapbooking room in a way that you will never have to search for your items when you need them.

• Clear organizing box

Instructions

1. Decide upon an area for your new scrapbook room. It is a good idea for these scrapbooking room to be out of the way so that you do not always have to clean up a project that you are in the middle of working on.

2. Part of your scrapbook room design should include a long table. Make sure that you will have enough room to spread out your work. Place this desk against a wall. Whenever you design a scrapbook room you will also want to have a desk for your computer, printer and scanner.

3. Now it is time to get your supplies organized. This is important whenever you design a scrapbook room. Organize your cardstock by color in a vertical file holder. Categories should include vellum, flowered, embossed, themes, patterns and transparencies. Your gel pens, pencils and markers can be stored in an old coffee can. Ribbons, fibers, punches, stamps, chalks, scissors and tags can all be placed in a clear organizing box. Put your paints and paintbrushes in an old baby wipe container and your photographs in a photo box.
