You will also need a bottle of cinnamon scent for candles and a soy candle wick. All these item can be purchased at you local hobby store. If you want to color the wax you can buy the dye also.

Step 2
Pick a nice jar or container and place a small drop of glue on the bottom of the soy wick a number 4 or 5 will be good and press it on the bottom of the jar. You can use a clothes pin to hold the wick in place when you pour the soy wax. Make sure to heat the jar or container with the heat gun before you pour the candle wax.

As the soy wax melts make sure to check the temperature with the thermometer. When the candle wax is ready to pour it should be around 160 degrees. Carefully mix in the cinnamon candle sent to the hot soy wax stirring it in completely. You need about 1 to 2 tablespoon of scent ,this is plenty, your nose will become deaden to the scent so don't worry if you can't smell it. -
Step 4
The finale step is to pour the wax into the container with the clothes pin across the top to hold the wick in place. After the soy wax has cooled for about 1/2 hour take the heat gun and carefully reheat the top of the wax. This will make the top of the scented candle turn out smooth. Cut the wick about 1/2 inch from the top of the candle. Let it cool for about 24 hours before you enjoy your cinnamon scented candles.

on 7/12/2009 Great Article!! I love candles and Cinnamon is my favorite. I just feel that the scented oil at the craft store does not have a long lasting scent. Any Suggestions?
