Things You'll Need:
- A waterproof eye shadow base
- Matte and Frost textued eye shadows
- A silicone based lightweight eye cream
-
Step 1
Begin by preping your eyelid with a light-weight silicone based eye cream. Place the eye cream around the orbital bone of the eye only. The silicone will absorb excess oil throughout the day.
-
Step 2
Apply the eye shadow base with your finger very evenly throughout the eyelid and crease. If your eyelids are very oily then use a brush versus a finger. Our finger tips naturally contain oil so it can affect the eye shadow.
-
Step 3
Now you are ready to apply your eye shadow. Use clean brushes and make sure to use a matte texture eye shadow in the crease. A matte texture also helps to absorb excess oil where you are the most likely to have your eye shadow crease.
