How to make Hawaiian burgers

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 onion rolls split and toasted
  • lettuce
  • 1 sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  1. Step 1

You will need a medium bowl to this you will drain the contents of the can of pineapples. Placing the pineapples to the side to use later. In the bowl with the pineapple juice you will add the teriyaki sauce. Place a small amount in a small bowl and place the pineapple slices in to coat all sides.

  2. Step 2

Then you will need to make four patties. Place the patties into a baking dish and cover with the pineapple teriyaki mixture. You will need to marinate for 10 minutes turning after 5 minutes. Then you will need to drain the teriyaki marinade and place on the grill. Cook on each side for 9 minutes on each side if you like them with out any pink in the middle. You will place your pineapples on the grill until they are heated through. I use microwave bacon and cook as directed on the package.

  3. Step 3

In a skillet you will need to place the onion and butter and sauté until they are tender. Then get your buns that you have already toasted. You will then layer lettuce and onion on the bottom of the bun. Then you will top with your burger then add the cheese and bacon. Then you will place the pineapple on the top and place the top of the bun back on. Serve while hot.
