How to make glazed pork chops

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 4 boneless pork chops 1/2 inch thick
  • optional 1 teaspoon dried basil
  1. Step 1

These pork chops have a great flavor. This is a quick and easy dinner idea. You can make some baked potatoes while your pork chops cook and prepare a salad and by the time you are finished with the pork chops you will have a complete meal. You will need a small bowl and a large skillet.

  2. Step 2

You will need to add the brown sugar, salt, chili powder, and basil if you are using it. Then gradually stir in one tablespoon of the canola oil. Do this until the mixture is crumbly. You will then need to rub this mixture on both sides of your pork chops.

  3. Step 3

You will now need to add the remaining one tablespoon of canola oil to your skillet. Then heat over medium heat and add your pork chops. Cook on each side for 8 minutes each or until juices run clear. This will take about 16 to 20 minutes. In under thirty minutes you can have a three course meal from start to finish.
