How to Compose a Teacher Appreciation Thank You Letter

A teacher appreciation thank you letter can be a meaningful gift of gratitude. A thank you letter is a personal way to show appreciation for a special teacher to remember.

• Heavy card stock
• photos , stickers
• Computer
• Word Document Program

1. First open your word document program to design your teacher appreciation thank you letter.

2. Second address your appreciation thank you letter to your teacher using their full name and choose a larger font style.

3. Third format your appreciation letter to your left margin beginning with your thank you salutation in the format Dear Mr. or Mrs. teacher last name).

4. Keep your letter short and heart felt about your appreciation for your teacher and use examples during the school year when saying thank you.

5. Break your teacher letter into short paragraphs spaced between and end it with an overall thank you statement showing your appreciation and what they have meant to you as a teacher.

6. Paste your letter (hand written or printed) on plain paper inside of your thank you card stock you addressed and fold to make an envelope.

7. Add some memorable photos or relevant stickers to the inside of your teacher appreciation letter for an added touch to say thank you.
