Things You'll Need:
- Styrofoam Ball (Any Size)
- Mirror Squares
- Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Long Screw
- String
-
Step 1
You can pick up your supplies at your local craft or discount store.
You'll need to know what size ball you want because you can make it as big or as small as you want. -
Step 2
Pick a point and insert your screw. This is the anchor for the string to hang the ball and will also serve as a starting point for your mirror squares.
-
Step 3
A Multi Purpose Glue Gun Makes It EasyWarm up the glue gun and start gluing mirror squares in a circle around the screw. Just a dab of glue should do the trick.
-
Step 4
Continue making circles until you've covered the entire ball.
Let it set to dry for an hour or two. -
Step 5
Before you hang the ball, wiggle each square to make sure they are snugly in place. If any are loose, re-glue as needed.
-
Step 6
Tie the string to a hook or nail in the center of the ceiling and shine a portable light onto the ball. Two lights on opposite sides of the room work even better.
