Would you like to listen to radio stations for free while you surf the net? Whether you are into smooth jazz, hard rock, adult contemporary, pop, soft rock, rap, country, punk, folk, easy listening, alternative, or Christian music, there is a free internet service for you. Explore new music genres or relive golden oldies, without spending a dime.

Things You'll Need:

  • an internet connection (preferably broadband)
  1. Step 1

    Try Pandora internet radio. With Pandora, you can create your own stations and build music stations according to your individual tastes.

  2. Step 2

    Explore Shoutcast radio. Shoutcast offers access to thousands of radio stations to choose from. Their choices are almost endless. Try Songza, the internet jukebox and music search engine.

  3. Step 3

    Use AOL or Yahoo Music to get your music and internet radio fix. Listen to new music while you read the news and respond to emails.

  4. Step 4

    Check out Live365 internet radio. Sample their recommended real radio stations from a diverse genre menu, run by actual people. Experiment with Slacker radio, a personalized internet radio service.

  5. Step 5

    Type in any artist and click play on Jango internet radio with their simple interface to easily start listening to your favorite music in seconds.

  6. Step 6

    Search for other free internet services on the web and try other services like Sky FM or AccuRadio. As time goes by, more free internet radio services will emerge. You are sure to find one that you like. I've provided some links in the Resources section to some of them for you to get started. Rock on!
