How to Print on a CD
The process of printing on a CD enables you to print words or images on a CD+R or DVD+R. Although it is not one of the most common procedures, it is not difficult or tedious to achieve. The only essential tool that is a mandatory requirement is the type of printer you use. You must have a printer that comes equipped with CD printing capability. This is the only way this process can be done effectively without any complications.

Tips & Warnings
It is highly recommended that you only print on one CD at a time on any printer. Most personal printers are only made for individual CD printing. If you try to print on more than one CD at a time, you could possibly ruin the CD and the printer itself. For CD print image ideas, click on the "Sample CD Print Images" link below. (See resources.) Only select printers can perform this type of CD printing action. The Epson Stylus Photo R200 Series, Epson Stylus Photo RX680, and Canon Pixma Printer are all highly recommended printers to use for the CD printing action.
The type of printer you use for this type of procedure is extremely important. If you do not use a printer that is equipped with CD printing capability, you could possibly ruin your printer. Before you insert the CD into your printer's CD/DVD tray, make sure there are no foreign objects or particles in the tray. The disc should also be free of scratches and any other possible damage. Make sure the CD is in the printing tray with the printable side up. If it is not, you could possibly ruin the CD, and as a result, all of your files on the disc will be permanently lost.
