For many people the pain and discomfort of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is an everyday occurrence. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the result of repeated use of your arm wrist or hand which puts pressure on the median nerve. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome occurs for a variety of reason such as computer use, certain illnesses, pregnancy, excess weight and an injury to the wrist. There are some ways to avoid the pain of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    To avoid Carpal Tunnel Syndrome symptoms take a break from what you are doing and take the time to stretch at least once an hour. Stretch your wrist side to side and back and forth slowly for 3 to 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Wear a wrist brace. The Carpal Tunnel brace will help to relieve the pressure on the nerve. A wrist brace is also a Carpal Tunnel Syndrome treatment.

  3. Step 3

    Increase your intake of Pineapple or Pineapple juice. Pineapple has anti-inflammatory properties.The active ingredient in Pineapple is Bromelaine. Bromelaine is available in pill or capsule from at health food stores and natural pharmacies.

  4. Step 4

    Follow a healthy diet to reduce the risk of developing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Eat foods rich in anti-oxidants. Take off your extra weight, if you are overweight you are more prone to developing Carpal Tunnel syndrome.

on 7/12/2009 Excellent! I have CT and it has gone away but when I hit my arm accidentally on something it sends a sharp tingling so it's really still there but hiding. Pineapple! Got it. 5*
