How to Create Free Blinkies
Blinkies are small animated texts that can be embedded to websites to enhance the creativity and look of that website. Many websites offer free blinkie creation tools that allow you to customize texts, background color and text color to create a personalized blinkie you can upload to blogs and social websites such as Myspace and Facebook. Creating a blinkie is very simple. Within minutes you can create the look and message you want and share with everyone.

Navigate to the free blinkies creation page (see Resources below). You will see a series of text templates, such as Blinkie Text Generator. Some are plain and others are bright with multiple colors.

Click the template you want to use. You will be brought to a new page with different font styles for the template you selected.

Click the style you want to use. This will bring you to the customization window where you can customize the template the way you want.

Type in your text in the "Your text" window. You have a limit of 96 characters so be as creative as you want.

Select the justification you want for your blinkie. You can choose from "Align left," "Align right," and "Center." Select your Switch style and specify how much spacing you want between the words and letters.

Click the colored squares under "Text color" and select the colors you want for your blinkie. You can choose up to 6 colors.

Click "Make my text!" when you are done customizing. When your blinkie has been created, click "Download it!" to save the blinkie on your computer.

Click "Get the codes!" You will see 5 HTML windows with codes for different websites. Copy the HTML codes and paste them on your website to display your blinkie (on social websites you'll need to click on Edit Profile and paste code into the proper field to do this).
