Things You'll Need:
- To begin get about 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts and dice them.
- Get 3 cups of rice.
- Sazon` Goya
- 4 cups of water
- A large bowl
- For best results a cast iron pot with a lid
-
Step 1
The first thing you’ll want to do is measure out 3 cups of rice and place it in a large bowl you will want to add water and mixing it around for a few minutes and then draining all the water this process is known as cleaning the rice the cloudiness in the water is starch I always repeat this process about two times.
-
Step 2
In the bottom of the pot you’ll want to add vegetable oil and add your diced chicken breasts add 1 packet of Sazon and fry for a short time over a medium flame. Next add your 4 cups of water and 3 cups of rice bring to a rpid boil over medium flame stirring often. Lower your flame and cover try not to seal it completely you need steam to escape in order for the water to be able to evaporate. DO NOT REMOVE COVER!! Cook for twenty minutes do not take lid off even at the end of the twenty minutes instead turn off flame and allow to sit for an additional seven to ten minutes

Step 3
Now if you have a large fork try to run it through your rice to prevent clumping. Steam some vegetable’s and you have delicious dinner that is also healthy. If you like your food a bit spicier add ground pepper to your chicken and also add it to your water when you are spicing it for the rice. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do
