How to Clean Arthur Court Silver

Arthur Court silver comes in a variety of pieces and designs, everything from a oval serving tray with grapes to a set of ghost shaped salt and pepper shakers. They're not just serving and dinner pieces. You can also Arthur Court picture frames and Christmas ornaments. This silver can eventually become dirty, but it's easy to clean and polish. Here's how

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mild dish soap
  • Water
  • Small bowl
  • 2 Wash cloths
  • Silver polish
  • Silver polishing cloth or a clean soft sponge
  1. Step 1

    Add a few drops of dish soap into a bowl of lukewarm water. Mix until the water is sudsy.

  2. Step 2

    Dip the wash cloth into the soapy water and clean your Arthur Court silver piece. Scrub in a circular motion if you find caked-on food or debris.

  3. Step 3

    Rinse your silver piece with warm water and dry immediately.

  4. Step 4

    Moisten your polishing cloth with water. The cloth should be damp but not dripping wet.

  5. Step 5

    Dip the damp cloth into the polish and apply to your Arthur Court silver.

  6. Step 6

    Rub in the polish with a back and forth motion. Cover the entire piece of silver.

  7. Step 7

    Rinse the silver polish with warm, clean water and dry immediately.

Tips & Warnings
  • Arthur Court silver pieces do not have to be polished after each use.
  • You could ruin the finish of your Arthur Court silver pieces if you wash them in the dishwasher or in extremely hot water.
