Spider-Man 3 the video game is an adaptation of the 2007 film of the same name, and the game generally retains the plot of characters of the film. Spider-Man 3 was developed by Treyarch and Vicarious Visions and published by Activision as a multi-platform release, with certain features unique to specific versions. In the Wii, PSP and PlayStation 2 versions of the game, players begin as regular suit Spider-Man, but by collecting secret items hidden throughout the levels and completing objectives, Black Suit Spider-Man and Venom can both be unlocked as playable characters.

Instructions

    • 1

Play the game normally but make an effort to collect all spider emblems and meteorites. Venom will be unlocked once all 100 meteorites have been collected.

    • 2

Listen carefully. The meteorites and spider emblems emit the same high-pitched noise that should make finding them relatively easy.

    • 3

Turn off all audio except for sound effects if you are struggling to find the collectibles. Being able to focus solely on the sound they make will make tracking them down much easier.

    • 4

Examine a map as you make your way through the city. Having a good understanding of the city's layout will allow you to cover more ground at a quicker pace.

    • 5

Beat the game and the option of playing as Venom should now be unlocked.
