Things You'll Need:
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Glue or Tape
- Stickers or Embellishments
-
Step 1
Cut a piece of construction paper in half. Fold it in half again, horizontally. This is the basis of your pop up holiday cards. If you want you can make it any size you wish.
-
Step 2
Embellish the front of the pop up holiday cards. You can use many items, such as stickers, or you can recycle items such as cutting images from old greeting cards. You can even use gift tags from old gifts for your holiday cards.
-
Step 3
Bend a paper clip to make your pop up. Bend it so half of it stays flat and the other half raises up. Use a red or green paper clip to go with the theme of pop up holiday cards.
-
Step 4
Attach something fun to the paperclip, essentially what will be "popped up". You can use scrapbook embellishments or draw a picture yourself and cut it out to use. Something fun and sparkly will make for better pop up holiday cards.
-
Step 5
Add a message to the inside of the pop up holiday cards. The message can be something generic, such as Happy Holidays, or you can add a personal not to each one.
