How to Make Holiday Napkin Rings Yourself

The best part of making napkin rings yourself is that they are so easy to make, you can make them whenever you want. Make holiday napkin rings for any holiday!

Instructions

1. 

   Find construction paper in a color that will best suit the holiday napkin rings you are making. Cut out a strip of the construction paper about 2 inches wide. Wrap the paper around the napkin you will be using. Allow extra room so the holiday napkin rings can be easily slid on and off. Cut off the extra paper.

2. 

   Glue or tape the ends of the holiday napkin rings together. Hide the construction paper by wrapping it in paper or fabric or, instead of completely covering the construction paper, use the paper or fabric to create layers.

3. 

   Use items to embellish the holiday napkin rings. You could use stickers or scrapbook supplies. For a holiday like Easter, you could use plastic pastel flowers. Enhance the flowers by placing a button in the middle of them.

4. 

   Slip the holiday napkin rings onto the cloth napkins you have chosen to use. Experiment with folding the cloth napkins in different ways but make sure the embellishments on the rings are all face up.
