How to Make Diapered Pickles for a Baby Shower

Baby showers are so fun to plan, especially when it comes down to the menu. Here is a festive way to dress baby dill pickles into diapers any mom-to-be will love!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • dill pickles(baby)
  • cream cheese
  • thin deli meat
  • pink and blue toothpicks
  • knife (to cut pickles)
  1. Step 1
    Slice the pickles
     
    Slice the pickles

    To begin, cut the pickles into little bite sized pieces as shown. You will want to cut as many as you can, depending on the number of guests you have coming to the shower.

  2. Step 2
    Deli meat strips
     
    Deli meat strips

    Next slice the deli meat into thin strips to fit around the side of the pickle slices.

  3. Step 3

    Now is the time to add the cream cheese. You can either use your finger or a knife and spread the cream cheese onto the meat strips. Add as much or as little as you like.

  4. Step 4
    Diaper your pickles!

    Roll up the pickle slices with the deli meat.

  5. Step 5

    Place a either a pink or blue toothpick through the meat and pickle to secure the meat in place and arrange onto a platter. Cover and refrigerate until served.

Tips & Warnings
  • While you are slicing the pickles, have another person cutting the deli meat into slices.
  • Keep refrigerated
  • Cover platter until served
