If you live in any sort of home where the door ways are not always secure or where children forget and leave windows or doors open, you have probably had to deal with wasps that somehow get into your home. then there is always the problem of trying o either chase them down and kill them, which is so unnecessary, or figure out a way to shoo them back outside.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • fabric softener dryer sheets
  • heavy duty tape
  1. Step 1

Determine where the wasps are entering your household. Usually this will be through doors on porches that are not sealed well, in older homes, or through windows where screens are not tight.

  2. Step 2

Select several new used dryer fabric softener sheets and prepare several pieces of heavy duty scotch tape, I like to use the sealing tape which is very sturdy.

  3. Step 3

Hang the fabric softener sheets so that they slightly overlap and cover the entire top of the door or the window or the place through which the wasps are entering.

  4. Step 4

Check the next day. If wasps are still coming in, you havent found the places they are entering. There will be no wasps if you have found the right spot.

Tips & Warnings
  • Hang the dryer sheets with a good tape so they won't fall off in humid weather.
  • do not hang the dryer sheets outdoors. The weather will take away the smell or the chenicals, which is why they repel wasps.
