Make A Classic Mojito Drink

A Mojito is a popular mixed drink used for cocktails, parties and events. There are different types of recipes for making a Mojito but the original classic Mojito recipe is best!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup boiling water, mixed and cooled
  • 20 mint leaves, or so
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cups light rum
  • 4 cups cold club soda
  • Ice
  1. Step 1

To make a classic Mojito, the first thing you need to do is boil 1/2 cup of water. Then you need to let the boiled water cool to room temperature. Next, add your 1/2 cup of sugar to the boiled water.

  2. Step 2

After you have made your simple syrup mix (the base of the drink) you need to pour it into a pitcher, and add your mint leaves. Stir it once all together.

  3. Step 3

Next, you will need to pour in the club soda, lime juice, and your rum. Stir well for about 3 minutes and then leave it in your fridge to settle.

All you need to do next is serve it! It's best to serve the cocktail on ice and you can garnish the cup with more mint leaves and a slice a lime if you want. Enjoy! This is a crowd pleaser!
