Make Oatmeal Berry Breakfast Bars

This delicious and hearty bar is easy to make and great for breakfasts on the go. You can use just about any fruit you want to switch it up, but this version is made with different berries. My children love this and it is so convenient! I hope your family enjoys them as much as mine!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  4. Step 4

    Should be a crumbly constituency.

  5. Step 5

Now add the oats and mix together well.
Again it should be a crumbly constituency.

  6. Step 6

Remove about 1 1/2 cup of the mixture and reserve for later.
Add the juice into the mixture and mix together again.

  7. Step 7

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of your greased pan using your fingertips or the back of a spoon.

  8. Step 8

Now for the filling, combine the sugar, flour, and salt and stir.
Add in the berries, vanilla and the lemon juice.
    Gently toss the ingredients together.

  9. Step 9

Place this mixture into the pan over the crust mixture.
Now place the reserved crust on top of the berries by sprinkling it. It does not need to be perfectly even.

  10. Step 10

Place in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 4 minutes or until the top is nice and golden brown.

  11. Step 11

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool on a wire rack. When it is nice and cool (about two hours sitting) cut into about 16 bars.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
