There are so many ways you can easily reuse items you would normally throw into the trash. Doing this helps the environment and saves you money along the way. Take a look at these various items and some ways you can reuse them. You are sure to think of other ways you can also use them!

  1. Step 1

    - EGG CARTOONS -

    Cut them and use them in drawers for small items.
    Store your jewelry in them.
    Storing golf balls.
    Small items in the garage like nails, bolts, screws, etc.
    Use to sprout seedlings before transplanting.

  2. Step 2

    - PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS -

    Use to line small trash cans around your home.
    Bring them back to the store. (some stores even give you a credit for them)
    Use as lunch bags for your family.
    Stop using them all together buy purchasing few reusable grocery bags, available at just about any store! This is the best way to go!

  3. Step 3

    - SMALL JARS, SUCH AS BABY FOOD -

    Use in the garage for small items.
    Store small items like paper clips, tacks, rubber bands, etc.
    Use to sprout seedlings before transplanting.
    Store excess seeds in them.
    Make your own candles with them.
    Decorate and place small items like bath salt, candies, make into a candle, etc. and give as gifts.

  4. Step 4

    - SMALL MINT OR CANDY TINS -

    Use to store medications in.
    For video game cartilages, memory cards, etc.
    A sewing kit.
    For sugar or cream when you take coffee along with you or when camping.

  5. Step 5

    - SCRAP PAPER -

    Make your own greeting cards.
    Cut into small similar sizes and store by the phone for messages, reminders, or grocery lists.
    Make your own bookmarks.
    Wrapping gifts.
    Wrapping up items to store away like Christmas ornaments.
    Use as packing material when you mil stuff.
    For your children to draw or paint on.

    -PLASTIC CONTAINERS -

    Store smaller items in it.
    Use as food containers.
    Serve your pets food or water in them.
    Reuse as bowls.
    Poke holes in the top and use as a colander.
    Use to sprout seedlings before transplanting.

  7. Step 7

    - PRESCRIPTION BOTTLES -

    First peel off the label.
    Store paperclips, tacks, rubber bands, etc. in them.
    Store salt and pepper in them for camping trips.
    For medicines in your purse.
    Store spices in them.

  8. Step 8

    - BABY WIPE CONTAINERS -

    Store recipes in them.
    Small items in the garage.
    Use to store items like crayons, pencils, pens, coloring pencils, markers, etc.
    Store small arts and craft supplies in them.
    Storing small toys.
    Storing office supplies.
    You can store many different items in these handy containers.
