Receiving spam on your iPod is a real pain in the neck. They also have not found a way to allow you to erase it, unless you first open the spam. Which means you are paying every time you open a message to delete it.

If you block spam on your cell phone in the first place, you will save money. Here are a few cell phone companies and how to block spam on them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

One way to block spam on your iPod, is to register your cell phone number on the Do Not Call Registry. That will stop telemarketing call and companies from text messaging your phone. It takes about 30 days to see it stop.

  2. Step 2

Activate spam blocking features on your phonw, by logging into your Verizon cell phone, select 'preferences' and go to 'text blocking'. You can select from several options what you want to block, such as block messages sent from e-mail, block messages sent from the web and so on.

  3. Step 3

To block spam features on T-Mobile, log into your Ipod, select change service and select message locking feature. Click the 'change services' option. The will activate message blocking. Select block cell phone spam on the web, or whatever types of messages you want blocked and save new preferences. Save your changes and this will block spam.

  4. Step 4

If you have a Sprint cell phone, you will have to go in and block spam by blocking, each e-mail address and numbers individually. Address in resources.
