There are simple and easy ways to make Tuscan rib-eye steak, and some complicated ways too. The steak is supposed to capture the flavors of Tuscany, which calls for a lot of spices. Some versions grill the steaks with tomatoes. The steak can be served on its own or as an open-faced sandwich on Italian bread. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 4 rib-eyes
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp.parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper

      Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, black pepper, parsley, vinegar and salt in a bowl.

      Place the steaks in a plastic zip bag with the marinade mix. Refrigerate the steaks for at least 4 hours or overnight. When you're ready to cook, remove the steaks and pat them dry with a paper towel.

      Warm a pan over high heat. Insert 2 steaks at a time and cover. Turn down the heat and cook until the steaks produce a little blood. Turn the steaks and cook them to your desired doneness.
