Calculate your life path number

In numerology the single most important part of your life chart is the life path number. In numerology this number is responsible for predicting the general flow of your life, although the details are naturally malleable. But how does one calculate the life path number?

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a piece of paper and a pencil. There is some simple math involved in calculating a life path number. It is easy to prevent a mistake if you do it by hand.

  2. Step 2

Write your birth date on the paper in the day / month / year format. For example I was born on the 15th of October 1982 so I would write 15/10/1982.

  3. Step 3

First step in calculating your life path number is to take the day you were born and add the digits together. For my birthday given above I would add 1 and 5 yielding a total of 6.

  4. Step 4

Next add together the digits in your birth month (January = 1, February =2, etc.) From my birth month of October (10th month) I would add 1 + 0 = 1.

  5. Step 5

    Add together the digits of your birth year. My birth year was 1982 so I would add 1 + 9 + 8 + 2 = 20.

  6. Step 6

To calculate your life path number, add together the final number from steps 3,4 and 5. (Ex. 6 + 1 + 20 = 27). If you have a 2 digit number OTHER then 11, 22, or 33 ad together the digits. (2 + 7 = 9). If you get another 2 digit number do it again. This should give you a number 1-9 or 11,22,33. This is your life path number.
