This is a great appetizer recipe for parties. They are a big hit whenever I make them. Use the jalapeno peppers if you are looking for a spicy recipe!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried crushed rosemary
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • 10 miniature sweet peppers or 10 jalapeno peppers
  • Gloves if using jalapeno peppers
  • Baking sheet/pan
  • Medium bowl
  • Electric mixer or stand mixer
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

Put the cream cheese in the medium bowl and beat the cream cheese with the electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

  3. Step 3

Add the Parmesan cheese, garlic, basil, rosemary, thyme, and pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Beat the cream cheese with the electric mixer until well combined.

  4. Step 4

Wash each pepper thoroughly. Cut a small slit lengthwise down 1 side of each pepper. Do not cut the peppers in half. Put on gloves if using jalapeno peppers. Carefully scoop out the seeds with your finger.

  5. Step 5

Carefully spoon the cream cheese mixture into the peppers and place the peppers on the baking sheet.

  6. Step 6

Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving - they will be very hot!
